Submarine Drone, Inc. adds contemporary technological sophistication to marine exploration at depth. While remote-controlled underwater vehicles for subsurface exploration have been in use for decades, technological progress has enabled the sophisticated coupling of standard sensors for the in-situ measurement of salinity, turbidity, ph, etc., and a double-function video system offering real-time monitoring from a remote station while a simultaneous enhanced record is made for future thorough review. It also features automatic controls of inclination, orientation, and depth, as well as inertial navigation algorithms and stability-controlled vision. The remotely operated Submarine Drone has been developed to explore shallow waters (up to 70 meters). The submarine drone has been tested and proved useful in support of search and rescue operations, supervision and support of situational intervention with divers, inspection of submarine oil, gas, electricity and water lines, among others and the inspection of dams and reservoirs, sedimentation/oxidation pits, and ship hulls.
